We spent a lovely week in Le Muricce. Giada and her family were extremely kind and welcoming, and the house was beautiful. The property is well located with easy access to nearby tourist attractions (Siena, Monteriggione, San Gimignano, Pisa, Florence, etc) and it is very calm and off the beaten path. Well worth a visit!!
We have had a wonderful stay in your lovely well kept and very clean apartment.
We would recommend anyone to stay here well worth it in a great area only 10 minutes drive to central Sienna.

Wir haben eine wunderschöne Woche in der Villa Muricce verbracht.
6 km von Siena und ca. 70 km von Florenz gelegen, kann man alle Highlights der Toskana bequem erreichen. Die Wohnung selbst ist hervorragend ausgestattet und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Bis zum "i-Tüpfelchen" ist alles vorhanden (sogar 2 Pads für die Waschmaschine!). Die kleine, atriumähnliche Terrasse mit wunderschöner mediterraner Bepflanzung lädt zum Verweilen ein. Die traumhafte Anlage ist mit ihrem Olivenhain und dem großen Pool wunderbar eingebettet in die toskanische Landschaft und liebevoll gehegt und gepflegt. Die Besitzerin Giada Mansholt und ihre Mutter tragen mit ihrer liebevollen Art wesentlich zu diesem Wohlfühlambiente bei. Wir haben auf jeden Fall die Adresse auch für künftige Toskanaurlaube gefunden.
Top Lage und Ausstattung
Die Ferienwohnung hat eine ausgezeichnete Lage für Ausflüge nach Siena (ca. 6 km) und das Chiantigebiet. Zur Wohnung gehört ein kleiner Innenhof (wie beschrieben), in dem sich gut sitzen und im freien essen lässt. Zum großen Pool sind es wenige Schritte. Dessen Lage ist sehr schön. Insgesamt ist die Lage sehr ruhig. Das Haus ist vollständig ausgestattet und alles funktioniert einwandfrei. Die Gastgeberin und deren Mutter sind sehr freundlich. Wir haben sehr gute Tipps erhalten, wo wir für den Sienabesuch am besten parken können und auch wo man in der Nähe sehr gut essen kann. (Aufenthalt im Mai 2022, Gästewohnung)
La posizione eccellente per raggiungere Chianti e Val d'orcia, l'accoglienza, l'appartamento molto attrezzato di tutto e il meraviglioso patio privato, la piscina immersa nel verde. Torneremo in questo posto dove Giada e la sua mamma mettono tanto amore.
Amazing Retreat in the Italian Countryside. There is nothing but positive words we can say for our week long stay in the Restored Barn at Le Murrice property. The owner, Giada, and here mother, Marie, were very welcoming to their property and helpful with suggestions for the surrounding Tuscany/Chianti regions. The restored barn is separated from the main house and is very clean and private. The apartment is spacious, bathroom updated and the kitchen is fully equipped for making meals at home. We enjoyed sitting on the porch for meals, coffee in the morning, drinks in the evening and just enjoying the peaceful views of the Italian countryside. There is a large swimming pool for guest use that was a perfect retreat in the heat of the afternoon. There is a large supermarket within 5 kilometers in Siena. This was a perfect home base that was centrally located for many of the towns and villages that we wanted to visit in the Tuscany and Chianti regions. We would definitely recommend this apartment in the restored barn and it will be on our list to return on our next visit to Italy.

What a great place to stay !
A beautiful old house at only 6 km from Siena. From here you can explore the villages in the Chianti region and the rest of Tuscany. Great pool, modern comfort, airco for those who need it... Very friendly owners. Correct, discrete and always available for information. A place I recommend to stay.
Un cadre très reposant en plein coeur de la belle Toscane
Nous avons passé 2 semaines très agréables au Murrice : une maison typique toscane avec ses vieilles briques qui apportent de la fraicheur (bien agréable l'été); un écrin de verdure dans un endroit très calme; avec une piscine fraiche à souhait et reposante. Notre hôte attentionnée nous a toujours donné de bons conseils dans nos rechecrhes.
Great Villa very near Siena in the heart of Tuscany.
Le Muricce exceeded every expectation, roomy, comforable and quiet. A well equipped kitchen made cooking a pleasure, and its proximity to Siena made shopping easy. The nearby COOP grocery store has anything you could possibly need. Take a taxi into Siena, we found it easier than searching for a parking spot. The Villa is an excellent location to drive anywhere in the region. Giada’s hospitality was most gracious and helpful, we will stay at Le Muricce again on our next visit.
Liebevoll eingerichtete Ferienwohnung ! Traumterasse !
Tolle Ferienwohnung ! Genau wie auf den Bildern ! Liebevoll eingerichtet und mit allen Küchenutensilien, die man sich vorstellen kann. Zum Kochen super geeignet. Wir waren jeden Abend auf der Terasse gesessen und haben Sterne beobachtet 🙂 Lage ist perfekt. 10 min nach Siena. 5 min zur Schnellstraße und die Chiantigiana (SR222) direkt vor der Haustüre. Alles in allem: wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub und würden immer wieder kommen.
Accueil chaleureux qui plus est par des hôte parlant parfaitement le français ce qui permet d'avoir des conseils précieux pour visiter la région. Maison très confortable et spacieuse avec belle rénovation dans un superbe parc. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter.
